But i guess the point isn't to necessarily change the way you live... rather questioning "am i actually "family centered by nature?"
It's less about judging yourself and fighting against the current VS "ah these are my actual priorities" and then thinking about whether they're right for you.
Jonathan, this is probably my favourite episode of your podcast so far. The insight is so simple, yet so true. And it doesn't just apply to business, but to all areas of life. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you enjoyed NYC! This is a good - challenging - exercise. For weeks, I’ve been saying to my team I want to create content for marketing our studio. Actions have yet to match up. I’d rather comment here? Sigh...
Sometimes, could it be a fear (of failure, for example) instead of a value mismatch? Or is it instead not valuing a business/team enough to overcome fear? Anyways, I’m mulling this question over in part due to the episode. No conclusions just sharing.
Interesting! Sometimes for me it's just lack of interest! Like I want to find a topic interesting, or want to believe it's important but I just don't care enough.
Hell yeah! I really enjoyed that book. I have one for you. The Courage to Be Disliked is very good, with an emphasis on noticing how your actions (also in the for form of inaction) align with your unconscious or conscious goal. I think you would dig this. It's really good as an audiobook as well, so perfect for a plane ride!
Thanks Jonathan for 2 things:
1. The product reco for that chunk of Dieter Rams-style gorgeousness 😍
2. That sucker punch... I say all the time that I'm family-centred, but I travel A LOT 👀
Time to assess where I spend my time methinks!!
interesting!

Ive read it and i did love it, so good recommendation :D
I think this recorder's audio sounds really good for its size! You might not need a separate mic...
I think next episode i should have the mic (i ordered it :) )
