Hi Jonathan, you may not know it yet, but I'm sure you are going to record a new episode... You mentioned you may quit, but I think it will be an unscheduled podcast...

Just wanted to comment on the part in this episode about working as a freelancer. I have been working as a freelancer for years and the way I have interesting chats at the coffee machine is by joining a local community of like-minded freelancers. Years ago one guy (a freelance communication professional) here in my city started to rent an office space in a building with multiple spaces (and thus multiple companies). A few other freelancers joint him and today on and off there are about 40 freelancers renting a desk in that space (flexible, so some rent it for a full week, others just for 1 or 2 days per week etc.). It is a great way to have those coffee machine chats, to do stuff together (like sharing knowledge) and to be part of a community. Of course there are similar initiatives, but a lot miss that community feeling. It does requires someone who is the 'engine' to keep it all together.

Thanks for all your episodes, I'm looking forward to the next one.... ;-)
